Can't think of a title?

Sometimes half the battle of getting a page together is working out what you are going to call it. That is where the Marshmallow Dream Bar embellishment kit comes in handy with the lovely chipboard blackboard style stickers. If you don't have one of those to hand it is always worth having a look amongst other stickers, die cuts or cut apart sheets to do the work for you. The rest of this layout is mostly from the lite kit
Its another photo from the trip without my DSLR. Normally there is a lovely view (and sheer drop) behind me!
I decided that " A moment to remember" was a good title - this point is about as far as you can get from my house in Torquay  and still be in the UK. Getting there was a huge acheivement for me and I wanted to record it. I had fun layering up lots of papers from the Lite kit, mixing in some die cuts, chipboard, flowers and buttons from the embellishment kit. I even had a go with the raffia. My initial plan was to staple it down but that was a bit of a fail so instead I made some holes in the card stock and sewed it in place with some white floss instead. The photo frame was made using a MFT die and some white card.

When it came to deciding where to put the journalling I toyed with the idea of writing on the clouds or putting some words in the cute mini envelopes but in the end I plumped for leaving those as decoration and instead writing around the edge with my trusty white pen
I then just had to add a few of the lovely blue sparkles (a reminder of the fact the mist was so heavy that I had to take my glasses off to see as they were covered in moisture!) and the memory of a "balmy" June day is captured!

  1. Oh I love love this layout and it just pops on the back. I have been to Torquay too and down as far as you can go... My aunt and uncle used to live in the UK and when I used to visit them we would travel all over. I loved it. Sorry I digress. Love the bright colours of this layout and the white journalling was a smart move... Love love love.
