Lift It Challenge - week 2

New Weekly Challenge - Lift It
Here are the details for the second week of the new weekly challenges. The new challenge is called Lift It.

The new challenge focuses on a different layout to scrap lift every week. You'll need to use at least three of the design elements from the featured page on your layout.

How it works:
I'll post up details of each new challenge every week, (this being challenge number 2 of 5). Each new challenge will be posted here and on the blog for you to follow along with.
Complete all the Lift It weekly challenges to be eligible for an extra goody in your next kit box! All projects must be new projects made specifically for this challenge. You can use any stash you choose but it's a great opportunity to dig into your kit box!

The next challenge layout to lift is this one:
You need to include at least three elements from the page. It doesn't need to be a direct lift, (copying everything you see). Flip it, add more photos, repeat the same embellishments across more of the page. Use whatever inspires you about the page.
Ready to get going with your own layout?
Once you've finished your creation upload it to your platform of choice.
For Instagram tag @craftytemplates and mention it's for the Lift It #2 Quirky Kit challenge so I can find it.
For Facebook add it to the Quirky Kits Group - on the post for each new challenge or else mention it's for the Lift It challenge #2 when you post it so I can find it.
For blog add a link to your project from your blog in the comments below this or any of the Lift It challenge posts on the Quirky Kits blog.
Or if you'd prefer to keep your project private you can email them directly to Leonora@craftytemplates.com
Have fun!

Right Now - Natalie

Hi everyone!

I'm back with another layout created with the last Quirky Kit!

Supplies used:

Main Kit:
Pinkfresh Studio Just a Little Lovely enamel dots
White cardstock

Lite Kit:
Pink Paislee Paige Evans Truly Grateful 12x12 paper #14
Pink Paislee Paige Evans Truly Grateful Phrase and Accent Stickers
Amy Tangerine A Slice of Life Puffy Stickers

Own Stash:
Background paper

For this layout I used Paige Evan's style as inspiration. I started with paper #14 and cut all the squares into diagonals. I used mostly the A side but I also used a few of the B side triangles. I arranged them into rainbow order with red at the top left down to purple/ pink at the bottom right.

And then I have to admit it sat on my desk for weeks as I thought about which photo to use. Then this week I took a photo of the sunset which was so pretty and I thought it would work perfectly!

Once I had my rainbow sorted this layout was super quick as I just added some simple tone on tone embellishments. I love how the Amy Tan leaf puffy stickers match the Paige Evans paper so perfectly! I also used some of the Pinkfresh Studio enamel dots and the Pink Paislee puffy accent stickers. I tried to mix up the embellishments I used across the page, so all the enamel dots weren't in one area etc!

I matted my photo on white cardstock and then added my title raised up on 3d foam pads, and a matching heart.

Also please note I've just realised after taking these photos that I need to add one more triangle above the pale pink one to complete the pattern - duh!!

So altogether a really simple layout, but I really like it!
