New Kits are going out this week!

Hi!

The new kits are now ready and are being packed up and sent out to subscribers this week so from Thursday it's time to start postie stalking! As usual I'll be posting them in batches and will be posting from Thursday (4th) up to Monday (8th) so everyone should have their kit by this time next week.

The two kits for March/April are 'Pocket Full Of Posies' and 'Roly Poly'.

Main kit, (Pocket Full Of Posies):

We've got papers from American Crafts, (Amy Tangerine Yes Please and Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm), Crate Paper, (Maggie Holmes), Teresa Collins, (Memories), Glitz (Uncharted Waters) and Alison Kreft, (Composition & Color). Plus a good mix up of embellishments from American Crafts, Pebbles, Studio Calico, Crate Paper, May Arts and Alison Kreft for Websters Pages.

There are two super cute washi tapes and I really love this months' Thickers alphabet which have a faux wood look. The whole look of this months kit works with the current trend for mixing vintage floral with modern geometrics as well as it having a lovely spring feel. I added in the woodgrain patterns and the wooden embellishments to give it a shabby chic feel. I also really like the silk leaves too, I've got lots of flower making embellishment ideas to share using these over the next few weeks. :)

The reverse sides of the papers this month are all great neutrals that work together too:

The Lite kit for this month is 'Roly Poly':

In this kit there are papers from Crate Paper, (Maggie Holmes), Teresa Collins, (Memories) and Alison Kreft for Websters Pages, (Composition & Color and Sweet Notes).
For the embellishments I picked out a cute Pebbles alphabet sticker, denim and netting fabrics, a couple of trims, paper leaves and a custom made posy of paper flowers. I looked at vintage posies to get an idea of what to make and put together the little bunches from a selection of paper flowers. You don't have to have them as a bunch though of course, they're all individual flowers. :)
I've already got some ideas for using the denim and netting fabric to make some cool floral embellishments so watch out for those popping up here on the blog over the next few weeks.

Keep it posted here for all your new scrapping inspiration both from myself and the fab design team duo of Lythan and Nikki.

Hope you enjoy the new kits!
x Leo
